Wow. Talk about a big show for the underground bass lovers in Los Angeles, especially for dubstep. Drew from the Smog crew has spearheaded a dubstep movement that seems to keep growing and growing in Los Angeles. I started going to the SMOG parties a year and a half ago and I've gradually become acquainted with Drew, DJ's Pawn, Steady, Emu and lovely Miss Blaze, and they are a stand-up group of people that have a strong love affair with the music. What a great night for the SMOG crew!

We are proud to announce the inception of our new radio show on dubplate.fm, the Danger Dub Show with your hosts and DJ's Dub-A-Tak and Violet Gray featuring our favorite dubstep tunes, but also some downtempo, jungle, breakbeat, dub and raggae. It's a hot night in L.A. We went on a bike ride tonight through El Segundo at around 11 p.m. We went on a mission to obtain some baking powder for the peanut butter cookies we are going to make later. There is something peaceful and invigorating about riding your bike down a hill so fast that you start to feel the wheels jiggle as you're speeding down the hill. But I'm so out of shape that I had to get off the bike on a particularly hilly hill. It was not my proudest moment, but Tak's playful taunts only served to make me step up to the challenge and it makes me want to do better for the next time.
This is so cool! I'm an official DJ for Filthy Digital Recordings. I'm honored! Add our myspace:
I have the worst cramps at the moment. It sucks ass, man! This is one of the major drawbacks of being a female. Advil is my friend at the moment. That, and this comfortable couch I'm sitting on. Now if I could only find the remote, I would be able to catch up on Sex and the City or something like that, you know?
My dog is a funny little thing. She has a funny personality. Granted, she weighs 3 pounds so she's all fur and love. It's pretty cute.
In a weird mood today. Maybe 'cause it's been cloudy all day.
